Some stuff I made while sitting in one spot watching the 10 hour Supercut of the MCU Phase 1 today!
The first two are smaller versions of a circlet (or necklace) I made last year for NYCC/the first WTNV Live Show.
The bottom one is a triple-strand necklace made of 270 glass pearls and 15 czech daggers (it can also be worn as a headdress), which is a copy of one I made to wear at [SPN]NJCon to go with my popular Leviathan Dress.
Both of these are probably the last versions I’ll have of these, since making them used up the last of certain of the components (the netted spacers, the daggers, the eyes, the spikes…)
Don’t let the seeming simplicity of these fool you, they took forever to make. Let me re-iterate, the Leviathan has 285 beads in a specific sequence on crimping wire, and each bead group of the Eyes required me to make eyepins from scratch.
I’m going to bring these to Zenkaikon, so look out for our table!
"Growing heart" pendant
Pendant that I wanted to make a few years, but the my skills were not good enough.
Polymer clay, acrylic, dry pastel, copper. Completely handmade.
Now this is my talisman, that warms the soul and awakens the love of life. I made it for a very long time, but now I know that there is absolutely nothing impossible.
Want! Too cute!
Some of the doll jewelry I’m bringing to this weekend’s Zenkaikon.
Some of the larger necklaces double as bracelets. Those lockets all open, just like human-sized ones. I’m thinking of making templates and bringing them along in case anyone wants a tiny pair of drawings inside.
Lulu’s jewelry is all done! The only one I’m not 100% happy with is the red-beaded blue hairstick. I had to sculpt that one, and that is not my best medium. Also, the petals curled inward when it baked.
Still got a bit to go on the belts and lace, but there’s only so much glue I can inhale in a day.
